4 Unforeseen Industries the World of Large-Scale 3D Animation Routinely Serves

by Rob | 8 years ago

With much of our work featuring roads, bridges, canals and dams, it’s easy for those poking around the Industrial Visualizations (iViz) website to think that we partner purely with civil engineers and architects.

And while much of what we do does deal directly with the aforementioned professional sectors, there’s still a sizable chunk that doesn’t. No, we’re not talking about the obvious options like advertising or gaming …

Keep reading, and you’ll see what I mean:

1) Transportation

Plains, trains and automobiles—whatever your project involves, if it’s big, costly and capable of effectively taking people from one place to another, we’ve built 3D animations around it.

These are complex projects. Our work helps greatly simplify them.

2) Aerospace

I know what you’re thinking, and I’m sad to say that I’ve yet to have tackled a 3D project for iViz that deals with the intricacies of intergalactic flight …

Still, we’re regularly helping both small and large airlines run their respective operations as smoothly as possible.

3) Rail

Whether it be a subway, light rail or commuter rail train, most major cities have some sort of rail system in place to help keep commuters happy.

The only problem, though?

They’re great once they’re ready for use, but implementing one without severely disrupting the natural flow of society is easier said than done.

That’s right—our 3D animations keep the general public informed, while also helping internal teams better catch the vision of what’s to take place.

4) Shipping & Logistics

The UPS guy isn’t always around with a dry-erase pen and whiteboard to help make sense of confusing shipping and logistics strategies.

If yours is a large-scale project involving multiple people, facilities and types of supplies, our 3D animations can quickly make sense of the matter.

Conclusion

The industries with which iViz works are as diverse as the talents each member of its team possess. I know that might sound somewhat corny, but it’s the honest truth.

Anyway, enough with my thoughts—it’s time for you to make yours known.
